Chains are so unsatisfying when you swish the ball though.
Also, I bet you could get nets in bulk for ~$1 or less each. (They're about $3 as an add-on item on Amazon).
If the net lasted at least a month, it'd be about $12 a post/$24 a court to maintain for a year(in materials). I guess then the question is who would be in charge of collecting donations and actually going out and replacing the nets.
Maybe the city parks and recreation department?
