I'm a minimalist; I hate taking anything with me besides my tiny iPod shuffle and my shoes - and shorts of course :0

But I started getting hesitant about going on long runs on the trails outside my house in case I got injured or bitten by a rattler or something. While I hate dragging a phone along, it's nice to have. I found this the other day:

I've only done a few runs, but I did 10 miles last night and practically forgot it was there. I'm literally buying a second one right now as a backup (because my current one is caked in sweat). I have a Samsung S8 and it fits fine.

I'm in SoCal, so I don't run in jackets. That said, I can't imagine any of my jackets would hold the phone snug enough to not bounce around. The pocket on this belt is actually quite small, but it stretches to allow a phone to be placed in it, and in turn holds it snug.

Yes, my wife is still making fun of my 'fanny pack'. Wait till she finds out I got a second one. Maybe I'll get a pink one...

I have used one of these for a sprint (generally don't take stuff on a sprint though) and super with no issues. It's certainly not waterproof so I put my gels and salt tabs in ziplock bags. For beasts I've used a small military Camelbak, it isn't perfect but I'm glad to have it.
