It's small, discreet and it's saved my ass from drops. Plus it's got grip. Just an all round nice case.

Not that slim but looks cool and I don’t worry anymore about my iPhone!
I currently have the Spigen Silicone Case for my XR. To me, this thing is TOO grippy, so I actually just ordered the Ultra Hybrid. The silicone case is nearly impossible to pull out of a pocket without pulling the whole pocket inside out.
But based on what you want, this sounds like it could be right for you. Also, their Liquid Air version sounds like it could work pretty well for your needs.

This is really good, and cheap. I’ve had it for 5 months, it’s pretty much perfect, if you don’t mind cleaning it from dirt on the inside every so often. It’s not the best against fine dust, but otherwise 👌

😀😀😀 had the same case for my 8+ and it was phenomenal for a year.
Been using Zoogue (now zugu) cases since the iPhone 5. I am so sad that they don't have any cases for the X.
But I am now really liking Spigen's Liquid Air case
