I would get the Spigen Rugged Armour case 38mm/42mm and it's apparently it's got impact protection and is made of soft TPU that should protect the aluminium.

The reason I recommend this is because I have used Spigen cases on phones in the past and they don't scratch the devices from my experience. Some clear cases are subject to yellowing due to exposure from the sun.

I work out with a SS Apple Watch. I would recommend another app like Gymaholic to track progress, reps, etc. And if you are worried about your watch there's this protector for it.

I purchased a Spigen Rugged Armor and think it looks great! I didn't really buy it for the protection, but more to make the watch appear a bit larger on my wrist.

You know I got it without knowing I would get an updated version. I bought it thinking that I would have the first gen with the one hole but to my surprise the updated one showed up.

The general attitude towards cases on this sub is generally no, but given certain environments I can see why it's a good idea.

Unless you're going swimming (full watch submersion for long periods of time), you probably won't need the catalyst case for the Apple Watch.

For rough physical environments, I recommend using something like this Spigen case. You'll save a great deal of cash compared to the catalyst but also have adequate impact protection.

I use this case and this band on my S0 when I'm doing more active things currently. Most other times I just have it naked. I'll use the same on my S3 if it ever finally comes (thanks a lot Best Buy).

My friends is an airplane mechanic and uses an Apple Watch with a protective case. He's banged it up quite a bit and hasn't had any issues.

I've worn G-Shocks most of my life. I iust love how bulky they are. I highly recommend Spigen! The case is sold separately from the band but I have piece of mind when wearing it. My only real complaint about it is that the band requires a bit of dexterity to securely fasten. Nothing a little practice won't fix.

Yeah, this one. Series 1 and 2 are same form factor, so there is no variance in case size/ shape between watch series. You have to use the screen protector that comes with it, though. Any other screen protector that wraps the edges will not work with the case. Just a heads up ;)

What kind of case are you looking for? Do you want a rugged case for when you workout or just a light case to protect against regular bumps and scrapes?

I have spigen rugged case which is very durable and will protect the watch from the most strenuous of activities. The only negative thing about this case is that you will have to remove it every few days to clean out dust and sweat and other stuff from the watch otherwise it will build up. But overall it's very good protection and it matches the black sport band perfectly so it doesn't look out of place.

I also have a slim Jetech case which goes on very easily. I just doesn't protect the bottom part of the watch but it's not really necessary. It is however very easy to lose. My dad lost one when he was traveling. I also lost mine briefly but I found it in my room.

agreed, had a gshock aviator before. I use it caseless with a zagg shield on the screen i had them put on in the local mall. looks like new, i swap the silicone bands often tho. Seems to hold up well. i'd probably recommend something like the case my friend has below, if your in a foot pursuit prone area or generally rough area.

I wouldn’t dare edc my Apple Watch without some form of protection, main reason is because I accidentally hit my previous edc watch on the corner of my marble countertop and I’ve been paranoid ever since. You’re wild for running a spartan race without protection LOL.

And the reason I carried fmj its difficult for me to acquire special ammo like hp so I figured it’s better than nothing, but luckily I recently found a seller of 45 hp so I’ve taken the liberty of loading my mags with those.
