I had this case for more than a year, survived plenty of drops and it still looks pristine

The one by Spigen works out pretty well

Spigen. I really like it. I stuck on their universal kick stand too.

What are the yellow parts on your phone?
Spigen Tough Armor is the shit. Best case I've ever owned.

Like many others have said, get a launcher, LGs stock launcher is OK, but Nova is just simply better.
I have been using a [Spigen Rugged Armor case](Spigen Rugged Armor LG V20 Case with Resilient Shock Absorption and Carbon Fiber Design for LG V20 2016 - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0HW9P4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Qe8zybKKK66H0) since I got this device and it is great. It doesn't take away from the feel of the device, but I am comfortable handing it to my two year old to watch videos or play around with the screen.
I'm not a huge audiophile but I would like to say that from my experience, the headphones from the promo are nothing special, I actually think the Samsung ones that came with my Note 7 sound just as good with the DAC. Hopefully someone can be of help to you here, I'm going to be keeping an eye on the thread for this part as well!
Welcome!
Edited to add link to case
I have this case and love it. Not thick at all, and very comfortable. Spigen Rugged Armor
Also basically any USB C dock will work. Just pick one with great reviews and you shouldn't be disappointed.
Not OP, but here's a link for anyone who wants to have a look what kind of case this is.
> Phone was sliding up and down by 1-2mm
Looks like a case that is easy to remove, e.g. for battery swaps. Is it? And do you frequently swap?
https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Rugged-Resilient-Absorption-Carbon/dp/B01M0HW9P4 I have this one on my V20 right now. Don't really need a super bulky case on this particular phone since it's more resilient to drops than most flagship devices.
As someone that always has a case that makes me feel better it kind of negates it. I just picked up this one. I got it because of plastic covering over the camera lenses but I suppose that's overkill.
This is what i have and I'm quite happy with it:

No integrated screen protector though
I haven't thought about it but I doubt it's the case, I bought this Spigen one.
Yep, sorry, Spigen Rugged Armor
I got this same one. It's awesome.

Agreed. I would suggest the Spigen Tough Armor case as an alternative. I use the Spigen and it's appearance conveys quality and durability. It feels good in the hand. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0HW9P4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WJ7wzbR4PQTHS
This can be supplemented with a belt clip from Encased that is specifically made for this Spigen. Belt Clip for Spigen Rugged Armor - LG V20 (case not included) (By Encased) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N02W6T7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_oKevcWlm1FS5b
I bought the Spigen Rugged Armor case. I would recommend it, cheap, efficient, protective and comes off without much hassle when you want it too and I've had no issues with headphones fitting in.
Notice micro-scratches on my screen, then a few more weeks later so I was tempted to get a screen protector however every review was critical and mentioned lack of proper coverage so I got a wallet case but then got the Pthink Protector.
It was my first time putting on the protector and I couldn't get it to settle properly around the bottom logo part and in the process broke both screens provided. Well fuck, I contacted Pthink and they sent me another package with no cost, got it to work this time but later around the logo it got slightly chipped, I will try putting on the last one I have before finding another brand. Just a heads up if you are going towards a tPU screen protector
ROM: (NOTE: I just checked and it was discontinued two weeks ago! Still usable of course.)
