My $0.02: Go with the v30. Best case scenario with those overpriced Moto-mods is you get locked into Motorola for your next phone... and there's still no guarantee how long Motorola will make phones supporting them. It also sounds like you use your headphones a lot which would definitely make the v30 with it's headphone jack and quad dac a no-brainer for me. Drop <$15 on this case or something similiar and you won't have to fret over the all glass thing either.
