Go for a bumper case. You can get them either clear or matching the color and design of the phone, so you can keep the aesthetic but offer at least a little protection against impact & screen/enclosure damage from putting it down somewhere.

Not a skin, but it's clear.

It's a Spigen Air Cushion Case. I've dropped my phone countless times with it on and I haven't had any issues yet.....I hope I don't lynx myself lol

This is the case I use. It doesn't add much bulk, but it still protects the front of the phone. I almost didn't get it because a lot of the reviews rated it really lowly saying it scratches easily. Turns out those people are dumb and didn't take off the protective film.

Ordered this Spigen one. Can't suggest it, have to see it in person first! Looks nice though.

I just bought the Spigen bumper case in black from Amazon. Look great and for good initial reviews so I pulled the trigger. I'll probably make a thread once I get it.

I got the Spigen Air Cushion Case. Clear hard plastic on the back a rubber bumper case". Looks nice, is clear, and shows off the phone.

Looks like the raised the price from $6.98 to $11.99 too.

Random thing: When I turn on the flashlight, the case lights up around the sides. It turned out to be pretty useful in the dark.

iPhone 6S+

Case is clear to show off the rose gold phone.

I've added a metal disc that glues on the back to make using it in the car easy

Also added a Sprigan Kickstand to keep the phone upright easily for hands free reading / watching video.
