I was just looking for a low budget fully serrated hawkbill style knife. This seemed like the only one in the price range.

I loved my Swiss Army Knife...when I was 12. As an adult, they serve no purpose for me. No hating on those who love them---but they're relatively flimsy and all the tools "kind of" work but none of them work well. I feel the same way about just about all multi-tools, either they are too small to be functional or they aren't pocket friendly. I have a skeletool, but I basically only wear it when I'm the woods or working on a project.

I'd recommend something very, very small like one of the very small, plastic frame, buck or gerber single blade folders. Small enough you can forget they're in your pocket but with an actual functional blade.

I have this, and it's a fine knife for most folks, but anything in this size or family would be fine.

Alternatively, something sexy like a scallion or a leek, depending on their hands.

I personally feel like the scallion and the leek are a little "slippery", but they're attractive.

Last alternative, depending on their personality, is something mean looking like a Spyderco byrd or a Cara Cara.
