You can get a pack of 20 for just under $20. You can also find some listings for them on Ebay.
There's also the fine liner version, which seems to be the main version on the US Amazon searches.

It looks like there's fiber tipped and metal clad tipped ones. I think the metal ones would hold up better, but I really have no experience.

What's wrong with spiral pads? I was thinking something I could fold over or just lay flat completely would be better especially since I'm left handed.
