I'm a huge Star Wars fan and this game has seriously disappointed me to the point I had to refund it a couple of hours in.
The multiplayer is mediocre with horrendously frustrating spawn points, the single player is absolutely terrible all you're really offered for co-op is a dull horde mode, and on top of it all the game is seriously lacking content which is to be amended by purchasing the $50 season pass, so to get the most out of the game you'll really need to pay $110.
And depending on where you live and for which platform you buy it for, you might not even be able to play it (PC is pretty much empty with only 7k players right now)
See if he might like Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V, Halo 5, Black Ops III, etc. etc.
You could buy him one of those games and rent Battlefront to see if he likes it, but I absolutely recommend you not to purchase it.
Try the Uncharted PS4 Bundle, $300, includes the System and the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection, which is actually 3 games in one (Uncharted 1,2, and 3).
If they are into Star Wars (as im sure most kids are), then get them Star Wars Battlefront. You can probably get it cheaper if you look around, seen it for $40 in some places.
Thats $340 for the system, and 4 games basically. That should last them quite awhile.

I literally did not question your intelligence, quite the opposite, but I'm having second thoughts.
I'm saying that having aim assist would do more than close the gap, and in the hands of a skilled player would be better than KB+M. I have not once pointed out any of the reasons why KB+M are easier to use, you just keep digging your intellectual strawman grave.
You are free to play with a controller and aim assist as much as you want, the console versions are there for you. And I agree that it might be inconsistent with other games, but I still think it shouldn't be added.
I don't understand why this is such a huge problem for you. The thing you are asking for already exists. You can buy it here or here.

I've already played fallout 4, but same story. PC is 29 bucks, while digital download is a whopping 60 bucks.

In a sense, this IS Battlefront 3. If you bought Battlefront 2 and the graphics are crap, then you probably bought the one from 2004. EA released the one in the post in 2015. But it was a shell of a game.
