I would love a USB enclosure specifically designed to fit in an adapter that went into a 5.25 bay.
I've found this other one that will dock a 2.5 inch usb hard drive using a case that's particularly made for sliding into the slot in the 5.25 bay adapter. I can't find it but it's not what I want anyway. 1TB (max) isn't big enough.
This is a pretty good solution if your library is under 1TB http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TWOGH4/
Get a 1TB 9.5mm drive and one of these http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MWDRD6/
...The only solutions I can find are for 2.5" drives :(
A fan controller like this. Or a fan. Maybe a removable hard drive tray. But personally, I just kept mine empty.
That looks like a good unit at a very fair price, as your original budget was $300, $180 gives you some room for upgrades or whatever.
