I was an Infantryman for 10 years and never saw a successful officer show any signs of quitting. Ever. The two company commanders I lost in Iraq certainly never showed any signs of quitting.
Get your shit together, get to work, run these fuckers into the ground, work them like dogs, have S3 do your PT tests or grade every swinging dick yourself. Let them know the standards aren't going anywhere, and neither are they. Don't destroy your Company, build it. Your career will follow.
