My wife and I use one of these to store BD toys in: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002BA5F4I/

I'll go through my process.

Initial bottle prep

So, if I get labeled bottles, either from friends or myself, I accumulate a lot so I can do a big batch. Once they are empty, I fill halfway with hot water, plug with my thumb, and shake a few times to get all the yeast and crap out. Then I leave them on the counter until bottle cleaning day.

On cleaning day (usually once I can fill a sink with used bottles) I give them a 3 hour soak in oxyclean (the dye/perfume free version) and hot water in one side of the sink. After the time is up, I take the bottles out one by one, go to the other side of the sink, and rinse in hot water to get the glue off. If the label hasn't fallen off by itself by now, I give up and recycle the bottle. Scrubbing is for the birds.

I then shake it vigorously upside down. Then I refill with hot water. Then I do it again. And again. Three times. This gets all of the soap residue off, and any other crap. The water turbulence is usually enough to dislodge anything.

For drying, I just put a full sized towel somewhere and put the bottles on their side. I dump the water out a couple times as they dry. I don't have a bottle tree, and this is sufficient, I've found. Once they are dry, I box them up, put the lid on, and store them until bottling day.

Bottling day

On bottling day, I use the starsan solution I prepared from brew day. I mix it in one of these, so I can soak them easily. I take the previously cleaned bottles out of the box one by one and inspect up to the light for debris (I've never found any). Then I put them in the container and let them naturally fill. I spin them a few times to coat the whole bottle, inside and out. They usually stay in there for a few minutes.

I take them out, dump the starsan back into the container, and put them on their side on a towel, ready for bottling. I bottle over the open dishwasher, and dump what little starsan is in the bottle out before I fill. No need letting them dry or getting all the little bubbles out.

And that's it.
