I have the 2017 iPad Pro, 10.5" size. I'll probably go for the larger screen when I upgrade, now that this has become my primary machine. But I think you can get by with either the smaller or larger screen for the kind of work I do. As I get older, I just appreciate the larger screen.

I'm not a fan of Apple's own iPad keyboards. I think my setup is a good compromise, allowing me to have a light case when I'm using my iPad without the keyboard. But a full sized, proper keyboard when I need it. And I can pair my iPhone to this keyboard if needed, as well. The Canopy case keeps the magic keyboard safe in my briefcase until it's needed. It's very light and portable. And I can reuse the Canopy and keyboard combination no matter which size iPad I may choose in the future. I'll only need to buy a larger cover if I choose the bigger screen iPad.

I got Gold to match my phone and watch but between white and black I’d get white. All white stuff looks great. I got the magic keyboard from Apple but I’m kind of wishing I’d gotten the regular iPad keyboard from Apple. I’m just so used to it. Honestly it’s not really necessary unless you plan to do word processing on it. The case I got I like and it was cheap.

I don’t recommend the screen protector I got by Qoosea.
The pencil is the game changer. If I had it to do over I’d get the Logitech keyboard K480 I think is the one everyone has been talking about (or if I had extra cash the Apple one made for the iPad).
If you need the magic keyboard anyway this case looks cool
