Reddit reviews Sunblaster T5 High Output Fluorescent Strip Light, 3-Feet

Somebody from this sub recommended it - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AKKUNIY. I thought it was a standalone lamp, but it's not, it comes with some hardware that can be used to install on ceiling or under the cabinet.

Is 6-8 inches away from the plants a good recommendation for the T5?
