Roger that, I'm familiar with GABA and its role in inhibitory neurological processes, but must have missed the day in my web-based drug and psychopharm classes where I learned magnesium plays a role. Recently realized that you're only supposed to take it once a day and I think I was taking it twice with meals, roughly for the last few months.
I forget why I went with citrate, but there was a reason, and I had read / been told that magnesium oxide from your local pharmacy supplement section was horrible in terms of bioavailability and absorption.
If you have more to share regarding the best / most beneficial 'kinds' of magnesium that can be taken I'd love to hear, otherwise I'll do more reading before I order my next refill.
