You could use a spring bar removal tool, or a dull-ish knife to pop the pin out like you would with any other watch that doesn't have QR pins.

The strap is held in place by a spring bar. This can easily be changed by any jewler who sells watches, assuming you have another strap to replace it. Alternativly you can do it yourself at home. Once you get the hang of it you can change a strap in 2 min. All you need is a spring bar tool.

I would seriously recommend avoiding changing out the strap constantly like that. As careful as you can be, you'll put extra wear on everything.
You sound like a person that should invest in a couple good leather NATO straps and a few cheap NATO/ZULU style straps.
Those you just thread through your spring posts, causing very minimal wear.
I think weekenders are slip-through straps? For this you have to use a springbar tool to replace the strap.
