Fuck yeah man, this is great! At the risk of overstepping my bounds, would you take a look at these and these and telling me what you think?

Could someone help me decide between MediaDevil's Artisanphonics EB-01 and Symphonized's NRG Premium?

Alternatively, could you recommend a really good pair of earbuds for $40 or less?

Source: Non-driven, laptop and smartphone

Type: In-ear

Preferred Tonal Balance: Bass-heavy, with warm mid, but still would like clear highs. Sibilance is a definite no-no

Past Headphones: V-Moda M-100, Bose IE2, Steelseries Siberia V2 (usb powered, started getting lots of static. When I revisited them, they seemed a bit dull)

Preferred Music: Electronic, metal, some R&B (think drake)

Location: USA

Thank the recommendation. After lots of research, it came down to the Piston and Symphonized NRG earphones.

I ended up buying the Symphonized earphones because they are an American company, even though the Pistons did seem to have better features and sound quality.
