I have this one charges my Go and allows me to use my nolo head marker at same time. Pretty small I have it stuck to the strap on the side with some sticky velcro

If you're happy to increase your "dongleage quotient" you can either use an OTG splitter cable that passes through a charge, or an OTG charging hub (like this one for example, or this one).
And obviously you could also use a Bluetooth keyboard instead. There's a tiny list here (haven't had much feedback yet).

I'll let u/ggodin answer this one. But he'll tell you that Android ignores all those special keys which means that Virtual Desktop is unable to pass them to the host PC.
