There's a great book about it.
The Dallas Texans were owned by oilman Lamar Hunt. Hunt and Cowboys owner Clint Murchison lived down the street from each other.
One story I read when I was a kid was the two men were in a bar in Dallas, in the bathroom next to each other, each taking a leak. One said, you know, this town isn't big enough for two pro teams. Supposedly they tossed a coin and the loser had to leave. Both men denied the story. But there's other interesting background in the comments about this book.
A Dallas Cowboys Vs Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl would be one of the most epic Super Bowls of all time. For those of you that haven’t read it, Ten Gallon War by John Eisenberg is a fantastic read.
If you found that interesting you would like this book.
