Eh, I wouldn't buy the battery and smart charger from evike. The one's that they give you you can get for cheaper on amazon. You might want to get a different charger/battery for it. Not sure that the one Evike packs is quality.

You can save money by buying your batter/charger from another source such as lipos from hobbyking or if you want to stick with nimh get this with another battery. I would get a $50 FMA helmet off ebay to save some money unless you really want the highland camo. You can also save alot of money buying the same goggles on ebay. They're surplus so you can find them new for $20 if you tried.
For the vest i recommend going on shootercbgear and getting a MODI JPC instead. The downside will be worse shipping times/price than evike but it's a better product.
Given you're not going LiPo for battery (perfectly understandable), here are cheaper options for your power needs:
