At least in the US rechargeable 9V is a lot cheaper. I use these and they have performed great. Low self discharge and 8.4V nominal. Tenergy is a chinese brand so it should probably be possible for you to find them for a reasonable price somewhere?
I tried these had issues and went back to the tenergy. I believe these, though I just leave them in the o2 for charging:
