Used Book in Good Condition

This could either be too children's booky or too adult or both, but Patrick Rothfuss wrote a couple picture books that play around with this idea. The first, (the Adventures of the Princess and Mr. Whiffle: The Thing Beneath the Bed) allows you to choose where to stop the book, depending on the tone you're going for (can be kind of scary, cute, or pretty dark.) Depending on the age of the kid(s) in question, it could be good. It looks like it's out of print so it's pretty pricey on Amazon. May be cheaper if he still sells it at his store. The second one is more reasonably priced and presumably still in print, but I haven't read that one myself.

The doll is patterned off Nurse Jazzy by kandjdolls, who is amazing, by the way.
She's supposed to be the titular character of The Princess and Mr. Whiffles. She took me quite a while, but I'm really proud of her! I didn't get a picture of it, but she's got a matching purple bow on the back of her dress.
