For PB i also figured out that i have to cut it from my diet, but i can drink tea normally until now, i can advise you to read about [FODMAP Diet] (http://amzn.to/2vyuPj8) for us IBS Fighters the right thing to do is to adopt a proper diet and visit a doctor.

The FODMAP diet did wonders for me. I was able to figure out my trigger foods and this impacted my stool consistency immensely, previously it was too much soft serve. This book is awesome: https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Low-FODMAP-Diet-Revolutionary-Digestive/dp/1615190805/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494465587&sr=8-1&keywords=fodmap+cookbook
There is also a second book with recipes. There are definitely options. I'm the main cook, so my husband eats what I cook. He doesn't feel deprived. I still cook with garlic, I add it to the oil and fry it for a bit before straining it out. If you have questions, ask away!

What worked for me was to get a cookbook of strictly low FODMAP recipes and stick to that for most meals. As I became more familiar with the diet, I branched out quite a bit, but starting out it was really helpful to have a single place to look for all my meals.
