Not the person you were responding to, but here's what I found about canon Meetra Surik and her lightsabers, along with sources:

REGARDING HER CLASS

In the Behind the Scenes section of Surik's Wiki page, it says:

> Surik's Jedi class is as of yet unknown. However, after she helped Queen Talia and the Onderon Royalists defeat General Vaklu and his traitorous forces, Kavar told Surik that he tried to convince her to become a Jedi Guardian like he was, saying that they could have used someone like her.[24]

  • [24] Conversation with Kavar in Queen Talia's palace in KotOR II

In Surik's SWToR Wiki, she is listed as a Jedi Guardian, though no source for that info is provided.

So canonically Surik's class is uncertain. Kavar's attempts to convince her to be trained as a Guardian may have either succeed or failed, and without a source on her ToR Wiki page, I'd personally be hesitant to go all-in on any definite claim.

REGARDING HER SABER TYPE AND COLOR

In the Equipment section of Surik's Wiki page says:

    >Surik dressed in simple Jedi robes, and possessed a blaster pistol, an armband, and a self-built[3] lightsaber containing a cyan crystal,[22] like the one she used during the Mandalorian Wars.[23]

  • [22] The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, printed in 2008

The wiki page for Surik's First Lightsaber, the one she used before the game, refers to her lightsaber in the singular, as did KotOR II itself, so we can rule out dual wielding from her pre-game canon. Additionally,

    > Choosing not to discuss with Atton about the lightsaber makes it a single-hilt with a cyan blade (coincidentally, the only color not available in the dialogue choices).

So we can infer that single-hilt cyan is her canon style and color. In support of this, Surik's Second Lightsaber, the one constructed in-game, is described as blue in the Revan novel, so blue or cyan is canon for Meetra during the game.

TL;DR: Meetra Surik/The Exile's canon Jedi Class is Uncertain. Her canon lightsaber color/style is most likely Cyan/Blue Single-Bladed.

Thanks.

Yes, actually. When parts like that are warped what you do is get some reasonably hot water and let the part soak for a bit which allows it to bend. Once you reach that stage you leave it under something heavy to bend it back into place.

Personally I use the [Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia] (http://www.amazon.com/The-Complete-Star-Wars-Encyclopedia/dp/0345477634). You could beat a goat to death with how heavy it is.

I've already done it once which has straightened it out a bit, but I'll have to do it again to finish it off.

If you are looking for something comprehensive send her a link to Wookieepedia instead. It's far more complete than any printed encyclopedia, contains both canon and Legends information and it's constantly being updated when new things are released. It's a lore geek's best friend.

As far as the gift goes, you could still get her that Visual Encyclopedia because it's got lots of really nice pictures. Alternatively, Ultimate Star Wars, The Complete Visual Dictionary, The Force Awakens Visual Dictionary, Rogue One Visual Dictionary and the Character Encyclopedia are all good books that have a lot of great info in them. You could also go with the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, although it's no longer complete and much of the information is no longer canon.

Whatever you pick, make sure it's from the heart and I'm sure she'll like it.

I though the description of Thrawn was a bit strange, like there was something off. Might be the hints you are talking about.

Outbound Flight might be the next SWEUBC book, and i have it on my reading list, will check it out soon. Been meaning to pick up NJO since forever, just haven't gotten around to it yet!
Cool. I will add vision of the future to my reading list :)

Maybe my word phrasing was bad. I didn't feel immersed in the story and the events, for me, just seemed like 'another day in the galaxy'.

I know this is one of the earliest EU books and the explanation/development of the universe might be what is making it feel like it drags out. I have read most of the The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. Yes, obi-wan's goodbye was a good read and i also enjoyed luke's trip to dagobah.

It seems like it is just me that doesn't get the book. Going to finish it and probably the other two in the series anyway :)

Thanks a lot for you input!
