Anyone from the UK can get skyrim on physical CD cheaper but I guess you'll have to wait a bit for shipping because of the holidays.

From what you describe, I'm guessing you bought the boxed version of Skyrim on Amazon UK (which is now £19.51!).

On Amazon US, the boxed price is $43.99 USD (it isn't available for PC download). While Steam is available worldwide, its developer Valve is in the US, so there might not be too much pressure from Amazon UK to make Steam lower its prices on Skyrim. But hopefully I'm wrong. :)

I bought mine from amazon.co.uk. 28 pounds is 43 AUD. It'll cost you an extra 10 pounds or so to get it shipped, but maybe when it's released you can buy it with a digital download, or ship it to someone in the UK who will give you the steam code.

It's already the case if you look in the right places.

You're refusing to buy such a rich and truly amazing game until it costs a measly $15? I bought the game when it came out for $110 AUD and have gotten my moneys worth out of the game 10-fold.

Please seriously consider buying this game now. I don't believe it will ever drop to $15, at least not for a few years.
