There are compendiums now you can grab they are white bound soft covers that compress 3 books into 1 each. They are called 25th anniversary editions and the books are combined in Book 1 and Book 2 etc. (These are the order that user Jørg_ancraft has given) the 1st 3 books starting at Homeland Exile Soujourn (make up book 1) Shard Silver Gem (make up book 2).

You can check them out at Barnes and Noble they are in a different section tha alphabetical by author from what I recall I had to ask for help finding them.

Also note try Thriftbooks.com if your on a budget it’s where I get 99% of my books all used for 1/4 of the price sent to your door although you would have to probably buy them individually for a few bucks each. https://www.thriftbooks.com/series/the-legend-of-drizzt/37907/

I was skeptical when I was looking back I have tried some heady reads like wheel of time series or the malazan book of fallen series (10+ books each) they were not easy wheel had some very slow books and malazan, the writing is good but strange at times, both are good but I found Drizzit a very fun refreshing fantasy read.

As to Drizzt, it's not for everyone. Personally I loved it, but Ive also been a D&D playing nerd for all my life. Drizzt's storys take place in the forgotten realms universe, which is a universe contained within the the parameters of Dungeons and Dragons. As such its filled to the brim with crazy monsters, world shattering magic, and living legends. This appeals to me very much, even aside from that though its a very gripping story about a person born into the wrong race.

Drizzt is a drow (dark elf), whose people worship the goddess lolth, a chaotic evil spider god. As such the drow are some of the worst most evil people alive. As a fluke of nature drizzt is born as a naturally good being and as such cannot come to turns with the violence and evil within his own race. I don't want to give too much away but the story is amazing and rife with internal conflict and end of the world scenarios.

I have attached a link to the books I read. They are an anniversary edition Im unsure how many of these there are, but each of them contain 3 books I believe. I recommend them highly.
