So the preorder I placed in Februrary finally came through to deliver this absolute beauty to me today.

This vinyl set is amazing, both the records themselves and its packaging, and it instantly became the holy grail of my collection.

The set comes with five(!) red records, containing the entirety of the Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack. Also included is a booklet with information on the recording of every single track, and what looks like a third of a poster of Middle Earth, foreshadowing a future release of the remaining two Soundtracks.

Good news for all LOTR soundtrack fans... They’re re-issuing the complete score to Fellowship on both blu-ray audio as well as vinyl for the first time in April!

...I imagine this means we’ll also get a re-issued Two Towers and Return of the King later this year. (Fingers crossed!)

The other two for TTT and RotK are also on amazon (fellowship had a much more limited run which is why it's so expensive).

Looks like it's still available on Amazon (link below) from the third party seller. And the price has gone down to $165.04 plus shipping. Best price I've seen on this since it shot up a while back.
