You done good, OP. I've had the same gun for 5+ years and love it. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of The M1911 Complete Owners Guide by Walt Kuleck. It's a great resource for a 1911 owner.
I thought these were pretty handy, Vol. 1 & Vol. 2. And I just saw these, Vol. 1 & Vol. 2, I haven't bought them but I do have Jerry's 870 book.
