Whats even more telling is one of the guys who created/dreamed up Reaganomics has disavowed it.

Bruce Bartlett was one of the guys who created Reaganomics. He recently wrote a book that I highly recommend reading:

The New American Economy: The Failure of Reaganomics and a New Way Forward.

Supply side/top down economics has destroyed our Middle class. We need a bottom up/demand side economic policy to fix our economy.

I do not agree that Reaganomics works, and neither does the one of the men that is primarily responsible for the idea and its implementation.

Besides, saying reaganomics works because 'economics says it works' makes no sense.

Here's Bartlett's blog.

You'll probably hate him, once you see this.

> My state throwing tons of subsidies and incentives at Boeing is certainly pro-business, but it is not pro-market

That makes sense. I read the Amazon description of the book you linked, and it seemed interesting. What's even more interesting, is that the same guy who wrote the book, now says that Reaganomics isn't working anymore, and that we need to raise taxes: https://www.amazon.com/New-American-Economy-Failure-Reaganomics/dp/0230615872/ref=pd_sim_14_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41wIeroS%2BjL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL320_SR210%2C320_&psc=1&refRID=ZT0XF7P34PR7FNAZ0536

> You will not find the words Reaganomics or trickle down economics in any economics textbook.

> GDP

And even a goddamn moron should be able to tell you that worshipping GDP as a measure of economic health is for idiots. Do you know what inflation is?

What next? Are you going to trot out the stock market next? Oh right....

You are nothing but a pathetic propaganda bot.

As I said:

> Everything that needs to be shipped will gain price with the fuel tax hike and healthcare is a MASSIVE spending bloc and that will also cost more, thus making the economy bigger on paper. And again if you are a poor person and a massive proportion of your income goes to fuel just to get to work everyday, it's going to hurt financially. Americans who are reluctant to drive because of the tax prices, are more reluctant to spend as well.

You have addressed nothing I said.
