You apparently need this in order to understand that Judaism is a religious tradition as well as a cultural tradition. No one is ethnically Jewish. You can be ethnically Hebrew, however. Which is what Jews are. For example, I have a friend whose family is Lutheran, but they trace their ethnicity to the area of modern Israel. They call themselves ethnically Hebrew, not ethnically Jewish. Because Judaism is a religious tradition and an associated cultural tradition, informed by the traditions of the faith.

Let's take Daniel Radcliffe as an example. His father is Protestant, his mother is Jewish. He is, according to Halakha, religiously Jewish. See, Halakha doesn't refer to ethnicity. It is religious law. I appreciate you making my point for me, that Judaism is, in fact, a religion.

You cited religious law to try to prove Judaism isn't a religion. I'm not even mad. That's amazing. You disproved nothing that I said. Specifically that Judaism is a religion. You provided no evidence of anything supporting that contention. "Jewishness", or Jewish culture, is historically tied to Jewish religious traditions. This is undeniable.

Atheism and agnosticism are informed life choices made after thorough examination of facts. People choose not to practice a faith because they do not believe a god exists. This is independent of the fact that halakhic law still considers someone born to a Jewish mother to be religiously Jewish.

Goodnight, shithead.
