I'm reading The Death of Scripture and the Rise of Biblical Studies. From there I'm going to move to The Practice of the Bible in the Middle Ages. One of my friends had sent an email where he used Plato's Phaedrus to make a comment, so I returned to that and I'm chewing over it as I'm going to shoot off a letter to him with some comment. Reading that made me want to read the Gorgias, which I haven't yet.
I've also been reading Li Po, but that's been sidelined momentarily since this is a busier week. Probably should be sidelining the academic books not the poetry.
