The show is about alien abuctions and the ignition of the atomic bombs in the 40s has created parallel timelines ...

  1. First time I see anyone reading that scene like this. She was checking the coordinates took from Davenport's arm. True, that seems Mr C's primary interest, but to say he is there right now is a huge stretch.

  2. Personally not fond of that theory, but you might really want to read The Secret History Of Twin Peaks ;)

oh man, they're cool. written by mark frost, aka the OTHER twin peaks creator. There's "The secret history of twin peaks" (written before newest season) and then "The final dossier" (written after newest season). https://www.amazon.com/Secret-History-Twin-Peaks-Novel/dp/1250075580/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1537908464&sr=8-4

edit: sorry. final dossier should read not "written after" but rather published after. i think it was written in conjunction with the newest season.

You can also check out the Official Books, 'The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer' as well as 'My Life...My Tapes: The Autobiography of Special Agent Dale Cooper'....There is also a 45 Minute cassette called 'The Diane Tapes' that you can listen to on Youtube. And there is a new book that Mark Frost is writing called 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' coming out in October that will bridge the gap between season 2 and 3 as well as other things I imagine.

As for other David Lynch films I suggest watching them all in chronological order, but if you want the essentials...(I started to write out what I thought were essential Lynch films and I realized I wrote them all down...so yeah).

Finished Twin Peaks: The Return last night after semi-marathoning it all week.

I refreshed myself on some things before watching it but I was sort of just watching it to enjoy and then there was a test at the end and I was unprepared. 😶

You know there will be going in but I regret not prepping more before watching it.

(Apparently reading the book The Secret History of Twin Peaks would've helped a lot. I'm checking it out of the library and hoping I can retrospectively interpret The Return through it.)
