Just a heads up: The Question in the animated series is very different from the comic version, he's not a conspiracy theory nut in the comics. It goes like this, The Question is created, Rorsach from The Watchmen is created to be a parody of him, and then in JLU they turned The Question into a parody of Rorsach. Confused? Sorry.

Anyways, The quintessential classic Question run is by Dennis O'Neil, and is currently out of print I believe. As /u/ghostly_harmless said, the best modern take is in the series 52, and The Questions side of that story is continued in a miniseries called The Five Books of Blood.

The Spectre is a trickier one, with the classic run by Ostrander (the start is collected here ), plus the whole Green Lantern thing which you may want to explore later or skip altogether.

Doctor Fate is getting a solo ongoing comic after DC's Convergence event is over (I think it starts in June), and he doesn't get much attention so it could be a great place to start with him.

They are putting out a trade of the first 12 issues in the first half of next year, I'm just assuming they won't get much further than that. They are putting out a similar collection of his Martian Manhunter around the same time.

It's actually more of a waiting game. If you look there are two with similar titles. Crimes and Punishments is a older trade and only has four issues in it, but May they are releasing Crimes and Judgements and collects the first 12 issues. The downside is if you want the one with more issues then you have to wait, but the upside is it also most likely means they will be releasing the entire run; unless sales end up being really bad for the one coming out in May. They also had to event mini series that involved him. Day of Judgement was about the Spectre without a host and getting him a new one and Day of Vengeance you see what Spectre is like without a host. They were both good stories, but they still were not close to Ostrander or Dematteis's runs.
