It's literally the nature of the opinion, and how it's different than a fact. I'm not trying to be rude, but my daughter was taught this in 1st grade. That's not something her teacher made up. It's a commonly recognized and accepted definition of what an opinion is. Google said this on the subject:

"The fact is described as the statement that can be verified or proved to be true. Opinion is an expression of judgment or belief about something. Fact relies on observation or research while opinion is based on assumption. The fact is an objective reality whereas opinion is a subjective statement."

There is no "proof" that red is a better color than blue. It's also been the grounding for doctoral studies. Here is one, a commonly cited authority on logic (There is even a logic model named after him, the Toulmin model):

Again, I'm not trying to be rude, but you seem to be attacking me because I'm offering an OPINION that is apparently different than yours.

Since we have moved beyond Blood Bowl strategy and into difinitive claims of English words, I'm going to withdraw from this thread discussion.
