Im Pretty sure its a cooling issue with your laptop, basically the battery is heating up because the charger is trying trying to maintain the batteries level of charge, the heat isnt dissipating correctly, because most laptops werent designed with cooling in mind. If you are going to be gaming on most laptops.
I started playing on PS4 but realized it was basically cross-buy with PC and started playing on PC. Don't like playing with a controller so not going back.

Seems to maintain most of my temps at a decent level. Typically GPU peaks at 77c - it's 30 degree+ weather here though and I don't have AC.
I dont think this will work as the fan vents are at the back.
I got this on for my ge62vr. It doesnt seem to do much. When I game my temps dont go over 70C, though it is only 60F in my house.
