RiP the good subs that did nothing wrong, I never bought anything linked on gundeals, but would always look and share with friends who shoot far far more than I do, especially ammo sales.

If picked would you be willing to give a second one of the light I'm choosing to someone else, stays under 40 combined and if you need I will gladly pitch towards shipping cost if there is any.

I've got a Thrunite Ti4 in Neutral white that works beautifully. It's $20 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WWPFWMM/ref=twister_B01LAK2FOM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

People seem to like the Lumintop IYP365, but it has a very similar pocket clip. Same goes for the Klarus P20, and the Thrunite Ti4. The only popular option with a different style of clip seems to be the Manker E21 - if you can find it in stock somewhere.

This is my favorite light in the world. It has a low-power mode that's appropriate for checking pupillary response, but also has full-power retina-burner modes, too. I love it.

thanks to someone else's comment i found this little guy that would be great to give to my girlfriend to replace her $4 walmart special penlight, since she refuses to carry an 18650 light

Black version in case you are like me and dont like shiny things 🙂 it states it has a little less lumens, not sure if it really does (at least noticeable).

I have one. It's too damned bright, so I replaced it with this. It has a low-power mode that is appropriate for assessment, and high-powered modes for actually seeing stuff.

although it comes in a few dollars over 20 I carry a ThruNite Ti4 everyday. i like it for the adjustable brightness, and tail switch. I carry it in my back pocket and, while the button is easy to push on, i have never had an issue with it turning on clipped to my pocket.

Would really like a pen light to keep as an EDC

You're awesome for doing this!

It sounds to me like you need a relatively low-powered, narrow beam. I'd be surprised if you even really had to worry about runtimes. Would a Thrunite Ti4 serve? It's got a bit of spill, but the contrast from spot to spill is pretty sharp, so it shouldn't cause too much glare.

Thanks! This one looks great.
