To Kill a Mockingbird

For "fun" (or...just...in my free time?) I'm reading The Poisoned City. It's interesting and heartbreaking, but a little too dense for me to really be able to get through during the school year. It'll be my first summer read, though.

For work, I'm rereading To Kill a Mockingbird. I teach high school English and we're doing this book this year. I'm sort of reading it three times at once? Once in each section of English and once in the afternoons to prep for next week's lessons. I also read it in college. I love it and have always had the biggest damn crush on Atticus Finch.

Have you all read To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee? It is a classic novel set in the American South in the early 1900s. Written from the perspective of a little girl growing up in that environment, I almost couldn't put it away once I started it.
