Tomb Raider is an amazing game if you haven't played that yet! The 970 can easily run at ultra settings and maintain 60 fps. The current lowest price I could find is Amazon for [$7.99]

You're in luck, in light of the new console generation most the greatest hits available for the PS3 are available for half their original price or less some even available in combo packs.
• Any title from the Ratchet and Clank series. The original trilogy is available on one disk on amazon with remastered HD graphics for $19 as well as All 4 one for ten bucks.
• The UNCHARTED series is praised as one of the best exclusives on the console to date and will not fail to impress.
• If you're a Sonic fan or not these games are fun.
• A few other gems that are worth a look.

This completely disregards PC gamers who buy all AAA PC games on release day for $60 (e.g: Company of Heroes 2 is $59.99 on steam right now) and console gamers who wait a few months after release and buy the games for less (e.g: Tomb Raider for PS3 is $39 at Amazon right now).

Those are both "on sale", notice the list price crossed out and replaced with a sale price? That's the normal price which will drop as the game price drops. Go check out skyrim on amazon.

Do you own any of the Supernatural seasons yet? If not, the first season is $22, for instance. You should buy your favorite seasons!
As far as video games are concerned, I'd recommend buying Uncharted 2, the new Tomb Raider, and Heavy Rain. These games are all super pretty and fun in very different ways.
