Or you could look into the Total War Bundle on amazon, its $30 for $134.92 worth of total war games, including Shogun 2 wih FOTS and ROTS

It includes all three games that you looked at plus the older ones, all for 30 bucks. That way you can try all of them and see which ones you like. I think it expires soon, so you should buy it quick.

A while back this collection was on sale for $30... pretty much the entire total war series.

If you're going to buy just one of them now I really recommend Shogun 2. It's the most recent and the best setting.

Otherwise you could wait and hope Amazon has another big sale on all of them. Good luck!
