I buy these nuun tablets which are for rehydration. It's just electrolytes and it's sweetened with stevia and like 1 gram of sugar. It's a little on the expensive side but they're easy, have good ingredients and honestly taste really good. Just make sure you get the new formula, cause the old formula which they still sell has artificial ingredients. You should also put concentrace (trace minerals) in all your water. One bottle of that will last a very long time.

Also there's medication you can take to increase blood volume if you need to do that. Of course you have to do that with a doctor.

I've been using the Mio Electrolytes water enhancer or theConcentrace Trace Minerals Drops.

Also drinking water that has minerals can help as well, such as SmartWater.

89/72 here, I don't know really when to stop. 5lbs lost.

Heartburn has stop. But I'm still dealing with kind of a diarrhea. Super liquid yellow/brown stuff. I'm afraid I'm having imbalanced electrolytes one way or another.... I don't know. I've read here and there that it's normal, but I would feel more comfortable if this was over...

I'm usually taking 4-8 teaspoon of this stuff a day (depends of exercises during the day). Is it too much ?

edit : I'm realising it is low on sodium, so maybe I should have some pink salt.

I used the following before and during my keto flu experience. I found nothing helped during shark week and I didn't lose. I weighed 2 days later and I went down 2 lbs. My suggestion is do not weigh in that time frame and keep your electrolytes up as best as possible. I do also take a potassium supplement. I love this stuff.

I usually do half the recommended dose in the morning and half at night, with maybe a few drops in between if I feel I need some extra. It makes my water taste pretty pleasant (to me it's clean and like how water is supposed to taste), but if you use "too much" it can make it pretty bitter - hence splitting the dose over the day. It's made an exceptional improvement in my dizziness/heart palps.

This definitely confirms my experimentation. I get salt from salt... no issue there and I get Mg from the trace mineral supplement drops https://www.amazon.com/Trace-Minerals-Research-Concentrace-Mineral/dp/B000AMUWLK
but I also supplement about 300 mg as magnesium citrate. I've never been big on K+, when I first got into keto I was probably taking way too much and felt like shit, felt way better once I backed off. I think a daily salad, avocado, and can of sardines is sufficient for K requirements among other micro nutrients.

I have the same container. Here's what I did. I washed mine out with dishsoap and rinsed THOROUGHLY. I filled mine with Reverse Osmosis (RO) water which I have under the kitchen sink. (Note: I live on well water, not public supplied). It took a few days to fill but that was fine. I also added a teaspoon of bleach to it to kill off any bacteria that may have made it's way through the RO system, or was still in the container. Yeah I added a teaspoon to 7 gallons of RO water when it is recommended to add a teaspoon to 5 gallons, but I figured this water should be pretty damn clean to start with. I also added the recommended amount of trace minerals into the RO water for taste and mineral purposes (RO filtering strips water of ~99% minerals that your body needs).

My intent was to have water than I could use to drink, or, for anything else (like flushing toilets, bathing,etc.). The point is it is versatile.

I also labeled the container with the date that I finished filling it (01/22/2019). After a year, I'm going to try the water out and see if it has gone bad or not. I'm not sure yet if I'll let it go another year or just use it up around the house and fill it up again like I did above.

Also I'm storing this on my basement floor. It's a constant 55 degrees F down there and out of direct sunlight. Also it is near a drain so if it leaked for some reason it wouldn't make a big mess.

I like this because I can always buy more of those jugs to fill and have a fair amount of water saved away.

The only downside to this is the jugs are heavy, I'm guessing 50 pounds. It will suck carrying it upstairs but if I really need it, it's there.

I put trace minerals in my water and coffee.

When I workout and forget to drink this stuff is when I get sore. Been using this stuff for three years now. It's my supplement when I don't eat enough whole foods that month or are traveling. I don't tend to need supplements anymore.

Other than the trace stuff, I'll supplement with a multi when I know I've been really eating the junk food. Usually during holidays or again traveling. :)

Interesting. My question on fatty foods might revolve more around putting coconut oil in coffee or even grass fed butter (if you're the adventurous type haha).

Is the gatorade for electrolytes? You could always put trace mineral salts in your water if you don't like consuming that much sugar.

Regardless, it sounds like you have an awful go of things and I wish you the best.

This is what I typically use but I also used this on a rim to rim up at the Grand Canyon a few years back.

There may be better products out there but this just happens to be the brand I'm familiar with.
