Have you taken a look at this ASUS laptop?

Personally, I like this Chromebook. I ordered the Celeron version, but there's an i3 version. Two advantages the ASUS laptop has are a 15" screen rather than a 13.3" screen, and an optical drive. However, if you consider weight, the Toshiba one wins. The Toshiba one has only 16GB of storage space so you'd want to replace it with a bigger one. I got this one. If you don't want to open up the computer at all, then ASUS definitely wins. The Chromebook requires a bit of effort and there's a screw with a sticker underneath that you have to remove to install Linux on it, so it's a bit more work, but I think it's worth it because Chromebooks are 100% compatible with Linux.

I'm liking my Toshiba Chromebook, but I'm just breaking it in.

Before I ordered an Acer Predator 15 yesterday, I had this one on my list MSI Computer G Series GE62 Apache Pro-004 It doesnt come with a SSD but has an extra bay for one. You can pick up something like this Transcend 64GB SATA III for $40 and throw it in and Be at $1140 total. Or the 128gb model is only $13 more.

Yes. I have the m.2 SSD in my W540 and W541 which are bootable.

It is a Transcend MTS400 - please be aware they need to be SATA m.2 and maximum size 2242 (42mm).

At least make a couple storage options like the other consoles. If they are going to compete, they need to have 3rd party support. The last CoD wouldn't even fit on that thing. Figure it out Nintendo.
