Neck pain is the worst! Getting a laptop stand really changed my life along with an extra keyboard. Here's a link to the one I have. I've had it for about a year and its been great!

I have the Mantiz Venus eGPU setup with my 980ti in my X1C6 and it's OK, definitely buggy and problematic at points (like using third party cables, driver updates, USB ports don't work well) but it's way better than the Lenovo Graphics Dock I was using earlier.
As for accessories, I bought this stand which I like a lot. There's so many types, so if you need one, there's plenty to choose from. I also bought a USB-C to 4 port USB-A hub from Aukey that fixes the USB problem on the eGPU.
One minor note, if you use a kensington lock, make sure you know it works with the unit first, one of my cables works and one doesn't. It had to do with the length of the kensington connector, for models where something sticks out permanently they don't seem to work (more portable ones) versus ones that are more permanent seem to work fine. I can elaborate on this if need be.
I think the HDR panels are in high demand, but I highly recommend it. It's a beautiful screen on my unit, and the brightness is great.

Elevated Laptop Stand, a mechanical keyboard and the razer deathadder elite.
I did this to my desk and now it’s like a full desktop setup :’) next step now is affording an external monitor...
