If your stash of sewing patterns is out of control like mine was, Comic book sleeves like these are the perfect size for most pattern packages and most that you find are re-sealable. They also make boxes and dividers that will fit patterns perfectly. Best part about it is that they are way cheaper than buying ones specifically for sewing patterns. I know it isn't a sewing tip, but it is a sewing organization tip. Hopefully it helps someone.
Depending on the size of the print, I highly recommend using Comic Dividers as protection or press them in between two pieces of standard cardboard.
I ship for a living. These packages get literally thrown/tossed/buried with other larger, heavier packages. If you want to make sure your products are safe and sound, you have to make sure it won't get poked OR bent, but a little bit of flex is good. Boxes can get tossed on them and they have pointy corners.
