The frames were around $14/each, so not too bad.
If you read my other comment, these frames do require some surgery to your magazine.
Another idea would be to print one of her favorite pictures (or better yet use the original) and put it in a frame like this for her and wrap it up. If she hasn't framed any of her work yet, the frame can really help make it feel more serious and valued.
An art set like this isn't the best quality, but if she doesn't have one it's fun to have a big variety of art supplies to work with.
