you all would greatly benefit from:

  1. oil pulling (cures gum disease and whitens teeth within a month)
  2. purchasing a calcium, zinc, magnisium, vitamin k2 and vitamin d supplements (remineralizes teeth)
  3. cutting down on the sugar, brush down on every meal (removing the bacteria)
  4. read a book called "how to heal tooth decay" (google it).
  5. Purchasing this and this

essentially what is happening is your teeth are deficient of the nutrients to rebuild the enamel of the cavity and or your mouth is highly acidic (due to sugary foods [with over 15,000 chemicals that are not listed on the packaging of most products] that you are eating) leading to tooth decay. you can correct it by doing what is listed above.!

this stuff works and will heal/correct the cavities! hope this helps!

I hear conflicting information on it for your mouth. It should technically work since you're trying to eliminate bacteria, but at the same time you're stripping your teeth of it's enamel (probably more so with the charcoal than without). I don't know enough about this topic to suggest, but there's been studies showing that while you brush you DO ingest what you're brushing with, so I would personally just use another substitute and as much as I dislike the ingredients in typical Colgate/Sensodyne and what not, they're probably better at their job than the charcoal is.

If you're looking for alternative/natural toothpastes I've only ever tried dr. bronners but found it did a crappy job.

If you're trying to avoid literally ANYTHING bad in a toothpaste, get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Uncle-Harrys-Natural-Fluoride-free-Remineralizing/dp/B00CP3KW26/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_194_lp_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=YC9QAQRDWBBV9WEWSPCP&th=1
