I got this little guy first:

AUKEY 20000mAh Portable Charger with Lightning and Micro-USB Input, 3.4A Dual USB Output for iPhone 7/7 Plus, Samsung and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0176HQ1O8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_FZjuzb5QYEJSG

It’s a fantastic pack for a decent price, plus it has a lightning input, which is cool if you use iOS devices. It’ll charge the switch, but it’s slow and it won’t charge while you play.

USB C Portable Charger RAVPower 20100 Power Bank QC 3.0 Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 20100mAh Input & Output Type C Battery Pack for Macbook, Nexus 6, iPhone and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019IFIJW8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_f2juzbKCCPR9X

This is the second one I got. It’s been fantastic! It’ll charge great during play as long as you use the usb c output. As for cables, I just got a usb C to usb C cable from Anker, they do great cables, try to get a gen 1 or gen 2 usb C too. (There’s different speeds and power capabilities on usb c cables, it’s a little confusing. )

USB C Power Bank RAVPower 26800 PD Portable Charger 26800mAh(Faster Recharged in 4.5 Hours &USB-C Input, 30W Type-C Output)for Nintendo Switch, USB Type-C Laptops, 2016 MacBook Power Delivery Support https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LRQDAEI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_V3juzbF757DZQ

I also noticed his guy, which HAS PD so it’d be even faster. There are also the power core+ from Anker with PD, but they are a little more expensive from what I saw right now.

I actually have two, one I carry with me day to day, and another that I leave in my laptop/Switch bag.

One I carry in my bag - USB C Power Bank RAVPower 20100 Portable Charger, it's got a huge capacity and works with other USB C devices.

My everyday carry - Type-C / USB-C Input & Output Lumsing QC 3.0 13400 mAh, This one is much smaller than the one above and very pocket friendly. but still has a really nice capacity for multiple charges.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the RavPower one occasionally goes on sale for about $35 which is what I got mine for.

Havent tried the power adapter, but the Butterfox Case fits my RAVPower 20100mAh Battery as well as the Switch with attached Joy-Cons.

u/Bronstin · 5 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Gotcha. I guess since the joycons are separate things and the screen is the entire front, it seems like a glove would only cover the back and the narrow top and bottom of the system? I do use a screen protector but I have a hard time picturing a situation where I'd drop the system in a way that the glove would do any significant protecting. I'd be more worried about extra insulation causing heating issues especially since the thing can run pretty hot and hasn't been out long enough for any longterm issues to be picked up on.

A phone I think is different since that thing is going in and out of my hands and pockets pretty much 24/7. But like you said, to each their own, I get why you want it I just wouldn't consider it anywhere near necessary or required. But just as I cringe and am kind of shocked when I see someone using a phone without a protector, I guess you feel the same way about a Switch. No worries.

>Its nice that the joy cons are comfortable for you. But that's you. For me, they are a bit of a joke especially when you want to go 2 player and are forced to play one sideways.

Tbh I agree they suck to play sideways, I was talking about using a pro controller vs two joycons.

>As for the battery bank, from the research I had done, the only compatible ones worth getting are anywhere from $60-100. Apparently it requires a very specific watt/amp ratio that is a bit pricier than your rando battery bank you may grab at your local 7-11.

Agreed that most ordinary packs people have probably won't suffice. There was a guy with a Reddit thread comparing power packs, I used that as a base and checked out some cheaper alternatives to what he recommended. I found this pack which works fine for me, it charges about 9-12%/hour while playing Zelda at full brightness.

Return to home is a nightmare for newbs. Use at your peril!

Buy extra batteries (I have 5 in total, 3-4 is ideal). For the same price as one more battery, buy a RAVPower charger that use can charge your phone, your batteries, and your remote with (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019IFIJW8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

I bought a cheap hard case, which holds 6 batteries, the Spark, the controller, plus the RAVPower and extra props (under $30, and I toss it in my backpack if I go out on a trail where you look like a weirdo carrying a little suitcase, lol).https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072QWG49K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought a landing pad, was not sure I needed it, but glad I got it. I live in a sandy area (beach, plus sandy trails in the woods), so this is a must. $14: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XQP7MHQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Watch for interference from your phone bluetooth, and if you have an iOS watch, that can cause issues too.

BUY the insurance from DJI. Day one, 5th flight in, the Spark started drifting in ATTI mode (google it!). Basically it was acting erratically, and I was flying around 5-7' off the ground, and it was headed into a street. I used the RTH (return to home) button, and it kept drifting, until it was under a large tree. Then, it rose up to the return to home height, chopping its way through the tree, until it did not, and crashed. may you have better luck!

Image wise, be aware that the Spark tends to blow out extreme highlights (surf foam, sand, etc.). The lack of RAW sucks, but you can always underexpose a bit. There is a AEB feature though that is super easy to enable, it basically takes 3 exposures (metered, + one stop, - one stop). Even if you don't merge the three, you will at least have your pick of the three.

For post work, on iOS I use SnapSeed the most. It basically works like the desktop NIK imaging suite works. Great program! (and I clean up stuff professionally) For Desktop post still work, I use Luminar & Aurora for HDR (and the NIK suite).

The Spark is a great first drone, you will have a blast! cheers.

the RavPower USB-C portable charger 20100mah

It also supports QUALCOMM quick charging. also appears to be cheaper than others and as far as I can tell works amazing.

u/queuebitt · 4 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

These three are good travel power banks. With the required USB-C cables they all cost ~$35. The Anker is smallest/lightest, but will merely extend play time by a few hours. The RAVPower and Tronsmart are larger but will charge your Switch's battery as you play. Assuming a transatlantic I'd recommend one of those two to get the most play time.

This Rav Power 20100mah is only 13.2oz or 373g on my scale. And it's 20100mah. I'd love a half capacity for half weight, but I haven't seen a USB C one yet close to this power to weight ratio, or even a non usb C one. I've seen a few 13000mah ones around 10oz and 5000mah ones around 5oz. This 13400mah at 9.8oz listed weight is the best mid size one for power to weight I've seen.

u/LennonMOBILE · 4 pointsr/Nexus6P

I bought this RavPower one about a month ago. It's been really solid so far. I love that it supports rapid charging and can charge the phone several times from dead.

Is the only difference between the one you linked and this one that the latter has Quick Charge 3.0? Does the 6P support that to make the extra $19 worth it?

u/n3farious · 3 pointsr/Nexus6P

Yes, with a A to C cable. Fast charging might not work, depending on the method and cable.. but it will charge.

BTW... I have this one and am quite happy with it. http://amzn.com/B019IFIJW8

I have the amFilm tempered glass screen protector on mine and I really like it. I was hesitant about a screen protector at first because I normally don't put them on my devices, but I can hardly even tell that this one is on my Switch. No issues with glare that I've noticed either, and it's usually <= $10. (And that comes with 2, in case you mess up or wanna give one to a friend)

I don't have a battery pack for it, but I've been looking into them for a buddy of mine who is going on a trip from the US to the UK in a few months. The one I've been really thinking about is the RAVPower 20100 . It's on the more expensive end (~$50) but it is compatible with the Switch and will charge it ~3-4 times and only takes 4-5 hours to recharge the power bank.

As for the case I got one at Toys R Us last summer for about $20 and it has been fine. It's got some padding to protect the screen, and has these little plastic cases that can hold like 3 games and an SD card each I think... It doesn't have a ton of storage space, but it works. It depends on how much you want to put in there, but you definitely want some inside padded layer that lays on top of the screen so that nothing you put in there will put too much pressure on there.

Has a port to charge everything. Supports every spec I'm aware for for fast charging. Which is nice when you have a tablet, phone, and other misc items. Had it for a year and a half now and it still lasts me an entire week of work before I need to charge it (about a half charge on my tablet each day).

I've got this one here: https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-20100mAh-Portable-Qualcomm-External/dp/B019IFIJW8

My phone (Nexus 6P) has a USB-C charger, and this one worked perfectly with it.

u/AdamManHello · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

This one from RavPower is cheaper than the Anker 26800 and only about $15 more than the Anker 20000. I use it all the time; works great. If it's still too expensive, just wait for a sale. Follow forums like Slickdeals - they love powerbanks.

u/Mikuro · 3 pointsr/TheSilphRoad

Those battery packs are killer. I have this one, very similar: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B019IFIJW8

It's slightly smaller but has QuickCharge, which is vital for keeping my Android phone charging during intense use and heat (and not merely draining slowly like with most portable chargers).

It's comically large and hard to fit in my pocket sometimes, but I can charge all day long and it never dies. Love it.

That's my only everyday-carry item. If I'm going hiking or biking, I'll bring drinks and snacks, but in the city I'll just make pit stops as needed.

u/QWERTYtheASDF · 3 pointsr/GalaxyS8

I personally have a RAVPower and I love it.

u/zmattk · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I agree with everyone else so far. The most important things are screen protector, micro SD card, and a carrying case.

But if you're looking for something a little more exciting, here's a list of the things I also recommend:

Portable Charger: You'll need one that has enough power to charge the Switch. Here's two that I have found work well. The Anker charger is significantly more expensive than the RAVPower, and neither are really cheap, but you'll get a lot of use out of it, and they can work for other electronic devices as well.

Anker

RAVPower

Portable Stand: The Switch's kickstand is pretty bad for tabletop mode. It's not adjustable and you cannot charge at the same time. Getting a portable stand fixes both of these problems. One like this is my personal favorite portable stand. You get more viewing angles than the plastic folding ones and you can use this with multiple devices as well. However, the Hori one or one similar to that works perfectly fine as well.

Pro Controller or Extra Joy Cons: Depends on your preference. I'd go with the Pro Controller if you're planning on playing mostly single player games. The extra set of Joy Cons are nice for multiplayer though as it allows 2 people to play with full controllers, or 4 people to play with a single joy con (aka Mario Kart).

If you go with the extra Joy Cons, I'd also suggest Joy Con Grips. While they might not look the best, it is a significant upgrade to holding the Joy Cons by themselves. They work perfectly fine for multiplayer Mario Kart.

u/mattmonkey24 · 3 pointsr/Nexus6P

This one is from Ravpower, which is a pretty good brand from my experience. It works really well for me and will even let me charge the battery and charge my phone off of the battery simultaneously which I haven't seen and makes it easy for traveling since I only need 1 outlet.

https://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Certified-RAVPower-20100mAh-Portable/dp/B019IFIJW8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468082102&sr=8-1&keywords=ravpower+20100

u/bogus83 · 3 pointsr/AppalachianTrail

I used this.

The thing is a brick, almost a pound. But it has quick charge input, meaning if you stop for a meal somewhere you can top off a lot more than if you were slow charging, and it was enough for me to charge my Nexus 6 five times while using it every day for pictures, videos, blogging, and Guthook.

It looks like there's a new 10kmAh version, which might be even more appealing if the weight of the 20k is too much. QC3 input and output, optional USB-C input... I don't know about the new model, but the big one that I took last year took a beating and still works.

u/OutofBoundsDG · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Again, haven't got to test it fully (at work and was doing some testing on lunch) But when I turned off the screen and just let it charge for a couple of mins it went up a few percent. Doesn't seem bad to me on the short test I did.

Depending on your budget https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019IFIJW8/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2KUZVNQ9LP7N9

That one seems really good. It says it charges even while playing a switch in the description. If thats out of your budget I would say the one I got would probably suffice.

u/jlipenta · 2 pointsr/Vive

Thanks for this! Was it easy to install? I'm seriously considering this. I don't mind the lenses but I'd prefer to have the best.

As for batteries, I'm wondering if something like these would work?

HTC mentioned on their forums that they will be selling the first party batteries separately without the kit, but no ETA on when. I don't find that it lasts long enough for my tastes, but having two or three couldn't hurt.

Here's my in depth review I wrote on Amazon:

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to write one for this since I gave it some decent real world testing with an iPhone X.

All tests below done with the charger starting out at Full Charge, charging and iPhone X on AT&T with a 1 foot lightning cord.

- Charge 1: Phone battery starting at 13% to 100% charge. Light usage with data, wifi, bluetooth on (checking email, instagram, a few texts). 2hrs 4min, all 4 lights still on the charger

- Charge 2: Phone battery starting at 6% to 100% charge. Minimal usage with data and wifi on (sent a few texts, checked weather). 2hrs 9min, 3 lights left on the charger.

- Charge 3: Phone battery starting at 20% to 100% charge. Played a few games, texted, instagram. 2hrs 11min. 2 lights left on teh charger.

- Charge 4: Phone battery starting at 8% to 100% Airplane mode, everything off and no use. 1hr 42min, one light left on the charger.

- Charge 5: Phone battery starting at 11% to 100%. Airplane mode, everything off no use. 1hr 32min. 1 light blinking on the charger.

- Charge 6: Phone battery on 25% to 28%, threw phone on the charger to see how much juice was left after the warning light started blinking. Charged for about 5 minutes and then died completely.

I then used a Qualcomm Quick Charger to charge the unit from fully dead to fully charged with a USB 3.0 micro usb cable. Took exactly 6 hours and 40 minutes.

I'm pretty happy with this unit, the build quality is great, the pouch is nice, and it's easy to use. I do a lot of backpacking and bikepacking and I look forward to taking this with me on my adventures to give my phone and drone controller extra juice out on the trail.

Sorry for another question, but I've been trying to decipher all this charging/power bank stuff all evening.

I'm trying to determine if this powerbank would be good/safe:
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Delivery-Charge-Nintendo/dp/B07C7XCMF8/

It does say "certified safe" but after reading all the links in the 'usb compliant' and 'choosing your charger' threads, i'm still concerned. I checked all the numbers but I'm still not sure I'm understanding it properly.

I could see myself spending a bit more if this one isn't safe, but I don't need a huge battery. Seems like 10000 should be enough for my needs, and I don't want to spend ~$100 if I don't have to.

Thank you all for helping eachother out, this is what I love about reddit!

The 20100 Ravpower Turbo without the charger claims about 2.5 switch charges on Amazon here. I'm not sure why the one with the charger would be different. I would think you'll be getting more than just ".3" switch battery life considering you're getting ~25% more capacity.

If the one you have now works just fine for you and hasn't left you wanting more playtime or faster charging then maybe just skip it. The reviews on the 20100 appear to claim it charges plenty fast but I haven't tried it myself.

But I did notice amazon lists the size specs of both the 26800 and the 20100 as the same size. If this is true then the 26800 might make more sense from a capacity/size perspective.

Here’s one with quick charge. I actually own this one too. After a coupon it’s $48. It has usb C and fast recharge too.

u/KookeyMoose · 2 pointsr/CDT

I went through several banks before I found one that I liked.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019IFIJW8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_jm3UBbTSXDA94

One thing that I found to be a great feature was a 3 amp type c cord for my phone. It charges my phone from the bank really fast.

One thing I’m still looking for is a type c cable to charge the bank. I do have a 3 amp wall charger but the type c cord that came with my bank is junk. I think having the ability to recharge a bank fast or at least faster than it currently does would be great.
If anyone knows of a fast bank charging cord let me know. I’m not even certain that a type c bank charging cord is what I should be looking for. All I know is the type c bank to phone cord I have is really fast.

u/dk745 · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

This is the charger I have right now. I know it doesn't have USB C, but do you think it would be sufficient?

Otherwise I was looking at the one you listed, or this since it's only $37.49 after promo code. Mainly looking for something that has USB-C for Switch and Quick Charge for my Galaxy S7.

Is USB C to C a much bigger advantage than A to C (or whatever it's called)?

u/spif · 2 pointsr/MotoX

This is the one I have, works great, charges very quickly: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014GRM294

they also make these:

http://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-RAVPower-20100mAh-Portable-External/dp/B0156HCJQO

http://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Certified-RAVPower-20100mAh-Technology/dp/B019IFIJW8

Those two have type C connectors, and the last one is also QC 3.0 compatible so if you get a device with that later on it'll be compatible as well. Right now the LG G5 is the only flagship device with QC 3.0, but I imagine the next gen Moto X will have it as well. Depends on how often you refresh your phone I guess, or if you have or plan to get other devices with type C.

I'd personally shoot for one that has USB-C for input and QC 3.0 for output. Thats going to cover the wide majority of devices and you won't be frustrated in the future having to pull out a micro cable to charge the pack when your future phones will all be C.

Depending on size and cost, there are a lot of options that would fulfill this.

On the big end, RavPower 20100mAh for $50: https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Portable-Qualcomm-20100mAh-Nintendo/dp/B019IFIJW8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1518212831&sr=8-3&keywords=usb+c+battery+pack&dpID=31ROW8cIauL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

I have a Rav Power pack that has 20100mAH. It's not the newest model, but it's been going strong for thousands of miles of travel for 2.5 years now. It has two regular USB ports too (one quick charge) so I can charge multiple devices at once. The extra power is great for road trips because I can go multiple days between charges (handy if you forget it in the car when you check into a hotel).

huh. I'm having exactly the same problem. Started a few weeks ago after I used an A-C adapter. Won't charge from any native USB-C source. I need to call Google one of these days, I haven't bothered yet.

N6P.
I've got a weird issue.
I bought this micro->C adapter and this portable battery at the same time. Plugged in the C-C cord, charged my phone perfectly. I plug in the micro->C adaptor on a micro cord, charges fine. I plugged into my factory charger...nothing. This elicited a nice "wtf?" moment. But I was going out of town, so I used the micro cord and the adapter, worked fine during the trip.

Got home. Factory charger still isn't working. I flip the C-C cord around, and the charging icon quickly flips between lightning bolt and nothing. Another "WTF?" moment.
Well, maybe the cord went bad or something. Grab this charger and a new C-C cord. New charger and new cord doesn't charge at all. New cord on factory charger doesn't charge at all. Old cord on new charger doesn't charge at all.

Take it out to the car. 2.4A type C, no charging at all.

3 different USB-A chargers charge it fine with the micro-C adapter on several different A-micro cords, including the new Anker charger. The factory A-C cord does work fine.

What
The
Fuck
?

Did the micro->C adapter break something? And if so, why does the phone still charge fine when using it? Anything that would be rapid charging (>2.1A) fails completely. Anything not rapid charging works fine. RMA time?

I'm researching power banks as well currently, and I want to point out there are also power banks that support Qualcomm Quick Charge. Can be handy if your smartphone supports that technology.

I found following 2 supporting it: https://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Certified-RAVPower-20100mAh-Portable/dp/B019IFIJW8/ and https://www.amazon.com/PowerCore-Qualcomm-Portable-Backwards-Compatible/dp/B00VLNT9KW/

What is your budget?

I use the RAVPower 201000 mAh charger.

Anecdotally, charge seems to match what is being drawn from wall with official charge. Also can fully charge phone at least 3 times. Haven't had to do it more times than that in a row so not sure on full draw.

I've been using the RAVPower 20100 (link) for a little over half a year now and it's been excellent. You can also fast charge it via USB-C, which is nice.

I've been struggling from audio noise/pops as well. I recently decided I wanted to build an all-in-one console out of a lunch box, the 7" official screen, this battery bank as well as these speakers and this amp to run off GPIO pins. After some struggle I finally got it to work; however, the crackling and noisy audio was still present like using the headphone jack. I tried doing the additions to the config.txt file for dither and pwm modes but they didn't do anything. I also can't seem to do sudo rpi-update from the console.

Today I have some snap on ferrite cores coming in so i'm going to see if that helps. If that fails I'm either going to give a USB adapter or the in-line ground loop linked by rhinofinger a chance.

I bought the Ravpower 20100mAh batter based on recommendations elsewhere and it works fantastically. Played on the plane for a few hours and battery was 100% when I got off. Then I used it to just charge my phone at night since the outlet near the bed was too far away for the cord I brought.

I went a little expensive and also bought the J5Create USB-C to USB-C 3ft cable based off information on recommended USB-C cables. The cable is overkill for merely charging the switch, but I wanted something shorter and it is also certified for USB Type-C specification version 1.2 so it should be good for future USB-C needs.

u/diiiiiianaaaaaa · 1 pointr/ElectricForest

I recently bought to of these external battery chargers. Originally $100, can't believe they're still on sale honestly. Charging a gopro off one of these will get you through the whole weekend without needing to recharge the battery pack.

u/operator207 · 1 pointr/crankshaft

Not sure about "crappy" USB power banks, but RAVPower makes some good ones. The 20kmah I bought on Amazon for $46 in 2017 has been a damned champ in a black car, in Texas heat, running a dashcam for ~10 hours 5 days a week. I would not call that, "crappy". It should also fit your needs. You simply need a good QC charger, and good micro USB cable (I can't find a good USB-C cable/Charger combo that will charge as fast as QC and micro USB cable).

The hard part is when you want to shut it off, and not just drain the battery. You may want to get a switch so you can cut power between the Pi and bank, that way you can cut the power and not waste the charge for when you need it.

u/keithian · 1 pointr/Android

I like it because in addition to USB-C (in and out through the same, single port) it accepts and pumps out Qualcomm Quick Charge. I have several Qualcomm quick chargers, and I have a secondary phone that charges via that standard as well.

u/im_thatoneguy · 1 pointr/teslamotors

The only downside is that it takes a while to charge normally, so I got this rapid charger for it. It's pricey overall, but I got it when it was on sale, I believe I paid like $40 for the portable charger.

This one uses USB-C power delivery to reach 30 watts of output over USB-C. Not advised, although im sure some people would say it works just fine.

This one only has an output of 5v/3A (15 watts) over USB-C and would be plenty safe to use..

"Limiting" just means not buying a battery with more output than 20 watts per port. Just need to read the descriptions and device details.

I don't know enough about the Google Pixel but I believe you'll be fine with either the RAVPower 20100 QC 3.0 or the Anker Powercore+ 20100. Quick Charging is, by definition, a Qualcomm technology so you're good on that front if the Pixel supports it.

Honestly, I believe all the powerbanks I listed will charge the Switch at some rate. I'm hoping to figure out which one will allow it to charge the safest and fastest and I unfortunately can't say anything for sure until I run some tests.

u/ghettosorcerer · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Where did you read that? I can't imagine a scenario where someone would've had the opportunity to plug a Switch into a powerbank.

I have this charger that I owned previously for my Nexus 6P. Its max output for USB type C is 5V/3A, which should be safe for the Switch, theoretically. It's probably safer to stick to a battery that actually outputs Type C, rather than a A-to-C cable.

u/idestroy · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

u/sbharnish · 1 pointr/nexus5x

I have this one.

It's a little more expensive for the same mAh but has USB-C in addition to microUSB. I get "charging rapidly" on my 5X when using the USB-C or when using a high quality cord in one of the USB A outlets.

It "works", it charges the SB2 via USB-C when powered off (won't charge when awake, haven't tested sleep) from dead until 20 percent, which is when I stopped testing it. I didn't buy it for the purpose of charging my SB2 but it's nice that it can give it some juice in an emergency.

Any wireless charging mat that is advertising at charging phones at quick charge 3.0 is lying to you. None of these will work with Samsung's proprietary wireless quick charging either. The samsung wireless fast charging dock won't even work with any other power brick besides the samsung one.

As for it advertising "fast" charging these companies can literally put fast in front of anything. There is no regulation regarding this. So it doesn't matter what the power brick supports that charger will only charge at 5 volt's 2 amps which is already slow wired but wireless it's even slower.

A simple solution would be this. Get a power bank such as this. connect one of the usb ports in the front to charge it and then simply route your cables from the other ports. That way you get usb 3 charging and the car can charge the pack when you aren't around.

Or if you wanna go the alterations route you could do this

Another option that I feel is great that people keep overlooking is this:
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-RAVPower-Qualcomm-20100mAh/dp/B019IFIJW8

That one is number 50 on their list. I've been using it for about a year now. It charges the Switch well enough using the USB-C port and using the Google Pixel cable.

I have traveled with this thing quite a lot and is perfect for me. Use it to charge my S8(uses QC and can charge any QC compatible devices), Nintendo Switch (again it charges while using it and playing BOTW, tested by me), Nintendo 3DS, and my girlfriends iPhone.

Have traveled to Europe, Asia, and all across the US and it has held up amazingly. Would recommend.

Also, not sure how big the one you posted is, but thing is not extremely bulky. It is 20100, I wish it were a tad smaller dimension wise, but I feel this thing is a great size for its capacity.
