If your phone uses Type C, I've had this one for over a year now.

Anker's regular 6ft cable specifically says does not support quick charge. You'll need a very thick cable for that at longer lengths.

This is a thick 6ft version that will work: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerLine-Durability-Including-ChromeBook/dp/B01M5GMZ6X/ref=pd_sim_23_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01M5GMZ6X&pd_rd_r=VV3AWVD7SXS4KTFJ9XYA&pd_rd_w=hTbOJ&pd_rd_wg=nhs0f&psc=1&refRID=VV3AWVD7SXS4KTFJ9XYA

But it's expensive.

I use this and this.

Works perfectly.

Plugging your Pixel into an old charger should be fine. I would avoid cheap, sketchy chargers in general though.

The only difference between using the official cable/charging brick that came out of the box and an old cable/charging brick is the charge time. The latter will be slower, it won't hurt your Pixel though.

For instance, I use a USB A - USB C cable for my Nexus 6P. This cable is slower than the one out of the box, but it charges my phone just fine. No issues whatsover knock on wood

I believe this is the one I got:

https://www.amazon.it/Anker-Powerline-Cavo-USB-C-180cm/dp/B01M5GMZ6X

1.8m is the longest I could find in Europe.

u/anonemouse2010 · 2 pointsr/GalaxyS8

I've got a couple of these..

Honestly, I think you just need to pay a bit more... you bought essentially really cheap cables... you got what you paid for.

You need a high quality cable, even the Samsung cables only last me a few months.

After I started buying Anker cables and car charger I have not needed to switch cables in over a year..the Samsung wall chargers have been fine, but if I ever needed to buy one I would buy anker, their products are high quality.

This is the cable I used on my note8 and now my note9

I highly recommend these.

Edit: I use the USB-C to USB-C version of this cable for my Massdrop CTRL, and it works flawlessly.

Hi all!

I struggled to find a USBC 3.0 cable here in the UK, i wanted to share the ones i've purchased which work perfectly, with almost 7m of cable length.

Active 3.0 extension cable:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01FQ88CE6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

USB-C 3.0 cable

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01M5GMZ6X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Working perfectly on a i9/1080ti.

Hope this helps!

It MUST be the grey one - I tried the red one (the updated cable) and it didn't work.

If you want to use Link to play standing games, I'd wait for the official cable. There aren't any others that are 15 feet long and still meet the required specs. But if you just want to play sitting games with Link, any quality 6-10 foot USB3 Type-C cable should do. I got this one so I can play Vox Machinae.

I used a USB-C to USB-A from Anker and it worked like a charm with SideQuest.

Adding my two cents. Windows 10, i7 4970k, 1080ti, 16gb ddr3 2400mhz: using the below cable.

Only issue I have so far is getting audio to come out of the headset but it came out of my speakers just fine. I just need more time to troubleshoot the sound issue.

Played skyrim in steam VR with little to no noticeable lag. Can report more when i have more time with it.

Here you are mate, I got this cable yesterday and it works great. Little short but it's cheap and very well made. Comes in grey or red

>USB3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) adapter cable with USB Type-C connector providing ultra fast read and write speeds for the latest desktop and laptop

Yes, that only speaks "USB3.1 Gen2" as the protocol, and doesn't speak TB3.

To use this enclosure you'd need a USB-C to USB-A adapter or cable. For example this USB-C to USB-A cable which supports USB3. Cheaper cables like these will only support USB2, which will work, but be slower.

So, you can switch to using USB, or return this and get a new enclosure that supports Thunderbolt (which will almost certainly cost more).

Here's the cable I bought almost 1.5 years ago: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5GMZ6X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hU1xCbHMHQ7EK.

It's great. Quite durable. I usually buy a 6' cable (I use my phone during charging) from them with each change in technology. This one is USB 3.0 to USB Type-C.

u/BDestroyer8418 · 1 pointr/lgv20

I bought this Anker been great ordered a 2nd one. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerLine-Durability-Including-ChromeBook/dp/B01M5GMZ6X/ref=pd_sim_107_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=SXN7SKBY1WRMBZJ065QX

I believe the code still works 3Ft AKUSBC3F $8.99
6Ft AKUSBC6F $9.99

Just look up Anker in Slickdeals and the thread towards the top 6' Anker PowerLine+ Micro USB Cable. Code say good til the 4th sometime haven't check though.

Here it is https://slickdeals.net/f/9608648-6-anker-powerline-micro-usb-cable-red-7-70-much-more?src=SiteSearch

I recently bought this along with a couple of these and they seem to work fine at the moment even though it does not charge rapidly.

I am curious about the fact the that brick is Quick-Charge and not Power Delivery and how that could play out later on, but time will tell.

u/Jynxmaster · 1 pointr/lgv20

ROM: (NOTE: I just checked and it was discontinued two weeks ago! Still usable of course.)

  • AlphaROM on xda. Comes with audio tools such as viper4android which let you toggle all sorts of improvements & effects for your headphones. LineageOS is also a decent universal option.

    Cable:

  • Anker Powerline+ Cable - Super durable usb cord with support for high transfer speed & charging speed (Quickcharge 3.0)

    Case:

  • Spigen Tough Armor or Rugged Armor Case - Simple solid cases with good protection and usability. (Not as beefy as an otterbox though)

Anker powerline cables are much higher quality than Samsung's
