My typical recovery drink is a protein smoothie (Vega protein powder, frozen berries, and water or almond milk).

Also recently I discovered Vega Recovery Accelerator, which I think works very well. It is more convenient than a smoothie when I am not at home.

Have you tried the Vega protein powder? I switched from Quest to Vega around 6 months ago because I don't like how many ingredients are in Quest. I use the vanilla and I really like it! I don't even feel the need to add anything into it to besides water. It has 5 grams of carbs per serving.

Amazon

Check it out on Amazon! It has 20g protein and 2 servings of greens. I don't like it straight, I always add it to smoothies.

Vega Protein & Greens was a lifesaver for me during my first trimester. I made a smoothie every morning with just water, a banana and the powder. It is easy on the queasy tummy and has 20g of protein per serving and no sugar 👌Can't recommend it enough! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MYRXIIS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_eHbSAb46D2JVT

I rotate between four different protein powders, all are vegan and are sourced from multiple sources (mostly pea, flax, and hemp protein).

My favorite taste wise is the Vega Protein and Greens.

Also from Vega, the Sport Protein is nice, as it has 30 grams of protein per serving vs the 20 per serving in the protein and greens. However, Vega changed the recipe for the Sport a few months ago, and now it makes a super thick drink, almost akin to drinking cake batter. I have to split up the serving just so the drink doesn't become too thick.

The Garden of Life Sport Protein also has 30 grams of protein per serving, and isn't as thick as the Vega Sport, but I think it doesn't taste quite as good as the Vega branded stuff. Not bad though.

Lastly, I'll occasionally buy Orgain as it is the cheapest typically, though it has a somewhat grainy texture compared to the others.

I usually just buy whatever of the four are on sale at my local Co-Op, but if you're going to go with one, I'd recommend the Vega Protein and Greens if you're ok with only 20 grams of protein per serving.

Edit: oh didn't realize you have already had the protein and greens, maybe try the Vega Sport? Also, I buy all four exclusively in vanilla, so I can't speak for the other flavors.

I'm definitely happy that we have so many options nowadays and that there are so many companies that are creating Vegan products.

Really depends on what you're looking for though. Customization is certainly great, but Vega really shines when it comes to creating high-quality innovative products that are formulated with performance, flavor, and whole food ingredients in mind that I actually trust to put into my body. For the most part their products are not supplements, but whole food powders (no synthesized vitamins and mineral blends that come from a lab, amino acid blends, enzyme derivatives etc. but rather non-GMO powdered food ingredients like greens, spirulina, marine algae calcium, acacia gum, real fruits and veggies, etc.). Price-wise there is really a range now too, Protein & Greens is available on Amazon for about $17/lb, and has 20g of protein and 3 servings of greens in a scoop.

In that case I use Muscle Milk vanilla. They also have chocolate. I get it cheap at Costco. I put it in my smoothies with fruit/greek yogurt.

I do NOT recommend this stuff. Also at Costco. Does not taste good when mixed in a smoothie.

Hi! I also use Vega some of the time to cut down on my dairy intake. Vegan protein powder has a gritty taste and texture. I can't drink it with just water, but it's delicious blended with frozen berries/banana, kale, and water! I've only tried the Vega Protein and Greens in Vanilla as that's what they carry at Costco. You can purchase it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Vega-Protein-Greens-Vanilla-Servings/dp/B00MYRXIIS

Here it is. They also failed to mention that it's Prime exclusive.

Most on here will tell you True Nutrition. Which, I can agree on some points. However, most of their products are sweetened by Sucralose (secret word for Splenda). I usually like close to 2lbs of powder. Which, could put you around $20 but in the US shipping and handling can run you to around $27.

I like this one:

with PRIME shipping is free. It tastes very good and it's sweetened by stevia which is a better alternative than sucralose.
