This is a much better deal, and offers a larger range of horizontal motion for the monitors, but does not have individual height adjustment.

Edit: Sorry to promote the competition, but the community should know about other options.

Actually, it's a cheapest mount I could find. I used to use it for 3 screens (19"+23"+19"), currently works well for 2 screens(2x 27").

Thanks! Yeah the different size monitors are far from ideal for multi monitor gaming, but it's not so bad. What I do is set the game to windowed mode, then stretch the window to the dimensions of my screen. Due to my center screen being taller in resolution than my outer monitors, some stuff gets cut off the top and bottom on the side monitors. It's not really an issue, but some games do have their huds on the top and bottom corners. So you have to watch out for that. Running a setup like this though you can not setup EyeFinity or nVidia Surround as the differing resolutions mess it up. But Live for Speed and all Codemasters racing games support the windowed method I've listed. Any other game I just run single screen.

My stand is a VIVO Triple Monitor Stand (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009S7ALH8). If you're looking into doing a triple monitor setup, I would not suggest this stand. I've had my share of problems with it and I can not get my side monitors to sit height centered with my main (so alignments are a bit off in games). Good triple stands are expensive. Once the summer rolls around I'm going to build my own mount to solve my problems.

I've loved this Vivo triple monitor mount. Iirc it supports up to 27" monitors, and once you adjust & tighten the arms it's fantastic.

Though it has alot of issues, it barely fit just the 3 24 inchs, the 2 side monitors didn't have an angle due to the arms being to short. The ultrawide in the center is a bit heavy for the mount which i need to add a shim to. To get the 2 side verticals to fit on the side I had to add some custom made steel brackets that extended the vesa mounts out another 5cm.

Funny enough, one of the cheaper ones on Amazon. But I love it.

Follow up from this post.

The monitor came in and it's damn near in pristine condition save for very, very, very minimal scuff marks on the bottom front bezel which you can't even see even in a lit room.

No dead or stuck pixels, excessive bleeding, banding or surprises. Still has the AOC sticker on the bezel too! Saved me a cool $250.

Bought a VIVO triple monitor vesa setup but one arm seems to be lower than the other even with max adjusting so I don't know. Maybe I put a bracket on upside down.

I also bought this Jeyi Knight (Lol) M.2 adapter from the land of China for $26 about a month ago and it has lowered my MX500 1TB drive by 5c and my ADATA SX6000 256GB by about 20c while under synthetic stress.

Looks pretty nice too. Not sure how much air it's sucking up in the bottom slow though since it's pretty close to the PSU shroud.

I'm using one with a similar design to this one, and I'm very much satisfied. It says it supports up to 24", but if I'm not wrong, those are some dell 25" with tiny bezels to fit well below the 24" max size.

Another one, which looks even more promising

This is the one I use and it does a pretty good job. The only thing is it's super heavy so I would get a desk that can support it and sadly the ikea linnmon can't just by itself

If you have 3 monitors and a tough desk, look at getting a monitor mount for them. The one I've got is built like a tank, and I just mounted my scissor arm on that. If you do not have a shock mount, that motherf***er will pick up every mouseclick and keystroke like you were hitting the mic with a hammer.
These are the parts I'm using:
Monitor mount: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009S7ALH8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Scissor arm mic mount: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OCH4JAE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You'll need a 3/8 inch female to 5/8 inch male screw adapter because the arm has a 3/8 inch screw and the Yeti needs a 5/8 inch.

I was suspect that they would be sturdy for this price but they really are. My screens measure about 24" across including the bezel. I think they are 22" screens??

The top screen is adjustable vertically (only a small amount) but it's still just a little bit off. Not horrible, but it's there.

Good luck duuuude!

I got this two weeks ago: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B009S7ALH8/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I spent part of this afternoon re-routing my DVI and power cables so they're fairly neat and tidy.

Ordered the mounts you suggested here: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V003/dp/B009S7ALH8

How did you build the bracket exactly? I have the DXRacer King Series chair. Would be nice to play away from my desk with the controls at proper height finally.

EDIT: Just saw you had a local welder do it. Would you be able to get it duplicated and send to me? Will pay for shipping and cost of welding of course.

$35 on massdrop is actually a decent deal, currently $58 on Prime

u/rcioffe · 1 pointr/Monitors

You can get a stationery monitor mount, which allows you to pull the screen closer, tilt, and rotate, but doesn't allow individual height adjustment for each monitor such as this.

Or you can get three individual mounts, which allow full mobility (up, down, closer, farther, & rotate) such as this.

There's double/triple versions of these as well. Double. Or Triple.

Good brands include: Ergotron, Ergrotech, VIVO, & Amazon's version. Mount-It and Cable Matters both make some as well, but I haven't used these ever.

Yes there is, here's the links to the triple monitor one (canadian price, idk where you're from)

I've had good luck with VIVO brand - I currently use the following:
http://www.amazon.com/Triple-Monitor-Mount-Adjustable-Screens/dp/B00B1D03GQ/

Easy to assemble, sturdy design, maximum adjustability in all directions. However, I don't know if they have a three-wide one that supports 27 inch displays - their three-wide seems to only support 24's:

u/Drock37 · 1 pointr/hotas

This is the mount I bought - I used to have a triple monitor setup but when I moved to a 34'' UltraWide I ripped the left and right arms off and now am using them for the Hotas.

Edit: Looks like that mount above is no longer available - this one would probably work as well -but I dont own it so I can be 100% sure on the length of the arms:

Im looking to use a triple monitor setup of a 27 in monitor in the middle, and two 4:3 17in monitors on the sides. Im trying to find a triple monitor mount, and ive found this two:

1- https://www.amazon.ca/Articulating-Triple-Monitor-Mount-Swivel/dp/B005HYDG00/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462299089&sr=8-1&keywords=triple+monitor+mount

2- https://www.amazon.ca/Triple-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-VIVO/dp/B009S7ALH8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1462299102&sr=8-3&keywords=triple+monitor+mount

The SIIG mount would definitely fit my setup, but it ends up being $70 more, so im wondering if the VIVO one would be able to manage with my setup.

The monitors im using are a Dell S2740L and two HP vs17's.

Thanks guys!

Depends on what type you want, and what your space affords. The straight metal bar style usually runs cheapest and keeps the monitors closest to level, but takes up a ton of space.

I have this Vivo triple monitor mount and it's worked out nicely. It doesn't keep the monitors exactly in line (I have 2x24" on the sides and a 23" in the center), but close enough for my liking.

This one: http://www.amazon.com/Triple-Monitor-Mount-Adjustable-Screens/dp/B009S7ALH8

Honestly, I'd recommend getting a free-standing one over the one I have. The clamp is warping the wood of my desk a bit.
